Coronavirus and Tax Deadlines

Dear Clients,

Meeting your 2020 tax deadlines is important to us at Daniel Island CPAs, and so is the health and well-being of our clients and staff. We have been closely monitoring the status of the Coronavirus outbreak and are committed to doing our part to limit the spread. We continue to work to prepare and file your returns assuming regular deadlines, as extensions have not been granted by the IRS as of yet.

At this time, we are keeping regular business hours in the office while practicing and encouraging social distancing. However, all staff at DICPAs have the capability to work from home without missing a beat, should we need to.

If you have not already provided us with your tax documents, we encourage you to send them to us electronically in PDF format either through your personal SmartVault or via our Dropbox. If you do not yet have access to your personal vault, please let us know and we can send you an invitation to create an account. We are also encouraging telephone meetings rather than in-person meetings whenever possible.

We will keep you updated as to any potential IRS extensions, but in the meantime, you can check with the Internal Revenue Service here.
